setting fuel for 1bar and using a hks FCD

moneys tight so not getting piggy back just yet, hence fitting the above,

just a few Q's first,

as above, will be fitting a FPR and looks like a hks FCD as i cant find a jam one,,

whats the stock fuel pressure? and whats people running when setting boost to around 1bar?

who all uses the hks fcd? are you wiring them into the ecu or at the map sensor like the jam tututol shows?

i noticed on the hks fcd there different setting it can be set at, whats this for and what should it be set to ?

Stock fuel pressure is ~2.2bar. I would strongly recommend getting the fueling setup via a wideband sensor and not just using guesswork :)

Stock fuel pressure = 2.3Bar(ish)

HKS has different settings; lower the setting the more lean and more boost you can run past fuel cut.

Set your boost to 1Bar and guess the fuel pressure - let us know when you melt a piston! (Or you could spend £40 and get it set-up so its safe...its up to you!)

whats wrong in asking for these etails so i can atleast run my car to check fueling on a rr,

it is asked stupidly regularly mate. im pretty tolerant and just let these threads go myself, but some people get annoyed.

do a search mate. been covered plenty of times.

set to 3 bar and be light on the right foot until its been checked out

How am I being a wank? You asked some questions, I answered some of them and made a small statement about how often these threads come up. I also gave you some advice; get it set-up properly to be safe.

Chill your bean. Search and you'll probably find all the info you could ever need...

hi mate live 6miles from a rr so will be getting checked there but no transport other than th car itself so need to get it somhow lol

Either or mate. It's better to wire it into the ecu because it could get wet and malfunction under the bonnet
