I've seen a few make they're own. It's worth a go anyway. At least that way you can set the gauges at the angle you want and have the pride of knowing you made it

i just stuck my gauges in where the stereo and heater control's used to be, there a little low down . If you want higher gauges then a pillar pod might be better, or a few single gauge pods off Fleabay
