small amount of water being pushed out of overflow :(

been mapping my car at 1.1bar. when i got home i noticed that the coolant bottle had pushed out a little bit of coolant from the overflow, i did check the levels quite often tonight and never noticed the coolant level was any higher or lower than it normally is.

when i say a small amount im talking round about a teaspoon full

is this definitely a sign of headgasket or could it be something else? i have a alloy civic rad with a new cap, but it was cheapish so could it be the cap?

engine was completely rebuilt using toyota parts, thermostat is new, coolant temps are fine etc. whats the verdict?

i shall order a new rad cap tonight and stick it on next week when it turns up!

Correct, its a 1.1. It came with the rad and it seemed ok, but the rad and cap was only £80 delivered so it may not be great :s

Pulled the cap off this morning as its all cooled down. Seems all ok, there was some paint round the sealing face from the rad so I have cleaned that up in case it was causing a sealing problem! Will keep an eye on it and see how it goes I very rarely do back to back runs flat out often so It probably won't do it again!
