Smell of petrol at a stand still

Had this problem for the past fortnight or so.

When sat at lights, on my driveway etc with engine running I seem to be able to smell petrol in the cabin of the car. Doesnt matter if my air vents are open or not.

Does anyone know of a sort of 'checklist' of causes for this?

Thanks

well check around the fpr area to make sure all is secure & nothing leaking..

whilst car is idling stationary have a look a the return hose as well as the injectors to make sure nothing is leaking.. apart from that ur only other thing to consider is the seal under the rear seats to make sure its hasnt dried up as it will let fumes into the car.

I was thinking it could be a loose/split connector in the lines.

Its very intermittent which is strange. Havent noticed spray under bonnet when working on the car.

Engine is standard by the way so hasnt had uprated fuel pumps fitted, regulators etc...

I didnt have the head off last month so might be when refitting the pipes they could be loose or shitty clips used.
