dont rule out your valve seals ian.. i had to change mine twice (both brand new sets from toyota & put the wrong way round) test them before u fit them..

the 1st batch toyota sold me where faulty (yes all 16 of them) the rubber had dried up not allowing it to seal with the valve.. replaced with yet another new set & this time i was lucky lol... no leaks.. toyota just came up with the simple excuse "i was unlucky & got an old set" .. :shoot: lol

what happened to selling it?

and chances are its ringland damage, best doing a compression test, and check all other possible means first i.e turbo etc etc

She'll be sold once I've found and fixed whatever problem it is I have. I would try and sell her as-is but no-one will pay what I want with oil pissing out all over the place. I'll do a compression test tomorrow after work, see what the score it. I hope it's not ringlands that are fucked, I really could do without the expense.

For me, blue smoke is coming from the rocker breather and under the turbo. I don't know where from, but oil drips out when the car is parked up. I checked the turbo oil feel pipe and that seems to be on tight. I guess it could be cracked, I might take it off and have a look just incase. It's the smoke from the breather than is concerning me though.

Also if the oil feed has been seperated from the turbo at any point and the gasket wasnt changed it will leak 9 times out of ten aswell.

Sounds like your engine is going the way all stock 4e's seem to go, elaines old engine went, used to cover the rocker cover with oil after a thrash, still fast as fook tho lol

just fitted the lil ct9 and the blue smoke has gone, just overfuelling a lot cos it's mapped for a hybrid @22psi

forgot how responsive these little turbos are, it's nowhere near as quick as it was but it picks up like fuck
