Smoke!

i have searched but as usual its mixed.

I get smoke from coming off the accelerator, i mean loadsa smoke!!! LOADS!!!! ive read it maybe be valve stem but i think it may be turbo, i do get smoke on idle and on acceleration is goes but when slowing to a junction, plumes of smoke come out.

would it be turbo seals?

no not really as its a long procedure for me and ive read you would see it anyway due to being burnt off straight away.

would it be suimmit stupid that i may have over filled with oil? as i can check it right now so im letting it settle then i will, but wouldnt it smoke on accelleration even if i over filled it?

cant see it smoking that much tbh unless you over filled it alot
does it smoke on cold idle or warm

its smokes when warm. I mean like chimney style, very thick smoke, smells like oil but the colour im unsure of. At first it looks white but when it disperses i think i can see a bit of blue. im not sure but it smokes bad!

sounds like turbo had same problem before smoke very bad

something like this happened to me before, when i was a noob, i put a large bottle of oil into the car, thinking "sure it hasnt come out the top yet so i can take more" and completley over filled the car, as soon as the oil started runnin through the engine and it filled the whole estate with thick white smoke. thats what it sounds like to me.

:haha: i can assure you im not a noob!

the reason im thinking i may have over filled it is due to my other thread. i have a oil feed leak and i had to top the oil up and start the car to see where it was leaking so i had to keep topping it up so the bottom end dont go.

i think it maybe the turbo as i may have starved it from the leak
