snow tyres

Fresh Recruit
Evening, Went shopping last night in the newly registered ep82 and couldn`t understand why I couldn`t lose traction in the snow and ice. It had me with a torch checking out the drive-shaft lengths (they are different lengths which rules out a lsd diff).
I then noticed the snow symbol on the tyres and realised it`s due to the set of Bridgestone Blizzaks the car came with from japan.
I google searched and the reviews confirm this tyre gives you studded-tyre AWD confidence. I`m well happy as I live in hilly Lancashire, need to get to work everyday without dramas. I can also go for weekend country drives. I start using the starbo for work tomorrow so looking forward to the drive. Anybody else have these tyres fitted?
cheers,
chris
