some more progress today an a slight hold up lol,

getting the bits ready-

my mate made a start of the cam belt while i did some cleaning an painting lol -

then i threw in the new thermostat, as the rocker cover gasket was being replaced

Then we made a start grinding down the sarnie plate an a slight bit of the power steering braket so it fit nicely aswell as some more painting of the block -

Then we hit a snag as was going to make a start fitting clucth etc an then box but realised the rear crank shaft seal needed too be replaced so have too wait too get one now

So we decided too make the turbo kit up instead too finish up the day -

an that was it for today lads, as soon as we sort out a crank seal thing we will push on. anybody know best place too get one quickly? i kno there not cheap but need one so i can carry on lol.

So gearbox cam shaft seal turned up today, £14 plus vat. didn have much time but got the flywheel an clucth fitted this afternoon.

just gotta bolt on the gearbox now an new water/oil turbo lines will be here tomoz an then its ready too drop in. so the removal of mine will take place this weekend i belive.

all the best with it I am thinking of doing a engine build myself. I got a 5E engine over the weekend so i am thinking will i keep it are selling it.

last of me bits are here now,

got these oil temp an oil pressure gauges with all sensors etc

new water an oil lines for the td04

an then the new discs for the front ebc grooved an vented along with yellow stuff pads an a 6 line kit

Gave the gearbox a clean today with some halfords gunk an wire wool. an will be giving a spray tomoz

then as my mate was stripping down parts for engine removal, i made a start on the new rear brakes,bearings,lines an pads

thanks lads, yea box has come up well, used some gunk an wire wool then brake cleaneran air line too get it all off. then couple light coats off smooth hammerite silver just for looks lol.

another update from today, getting there.

getting there, just need too bolt the inlet mani on, with all pipes etc, an then tidy some wiring up. then do the oil, fit rad back etc

then for the jobs such as emu, gauges etc.

very happy with how shes going tho
