Well, its gone for its mot, it hasn't returned though! So I'm slightly worried!

But on the same token he had a lot to do on it before the mot. So it might just be it took longer than he thought!

He had to -

Change the flexi on the exhaust
Fit braided brake lines
Change the gear linkage
Change the handbrake cables
Check the timing and set it up.
Have a look at my misfire
And then fix my boost leak

It was a pretty big list so maybe he just didn't get round to the mot today I hope!

lol 2 bar, thats mad aint it!!
Dont know if i will go that far.
Need to sort some cams and an inlet and will run abit more boost :)

Hahaha, 2bar that would be insane! Well best get cracking and get your cams and inlet sorted and crank that boost up ;)

See if Gaz can tell you if its both part and WOT or one oe the other.
How does the Gizmo boost controller work? Along the same line as the HDi ones?

Is your TPS callibrated properly?

WOT = wide open throttle (flat oot!)

Odd that it does it on part throttle, try re-callibrating the TPS and see if it still does it.
But its odd that it doesnt do it at full throttle?
Ignition timing set correctly?

Tbh mate, i just let them crack on with it, they are good lads and have done this many times before so i cant say much more..
I will be popping down to Gazs soon though with a mate to get his gt mapped and taking mine too see if they can do any more.

Soyou dont think its down to ignition system mate?

So you didnt set the ignition timing? Did Gaz or Aze check it mabey?

If the ignition system was at fault, it wouldnt run well on boost at all, would seriously break down at higher rpm if it did.

Mabey worth checking the TPS, theres a tutorial on here on how to do it.

No dont think it was checked mate, maybe i can take it to a garage and get it checked?

Yeah you could take it to a garage or if you have a friend with a timing light its very simple. Again theres a tutorial on here somewhere aswell.
