Right finally finished my td04 conversion today after gettin my downpipe back midweek!! but it wont start!! :(

i have a feeling it is the fueling because... (story begins :p)

when i first went to start it up the injectors were leaking, took fuel rail off and put it back on tried again and they were now fine but it still wouldnt start... so i thought hmmm is fuel gettin thro the system??

so i then loosened the FPR side of it and went to start it up again and it pisst fuel out of where i loosened it, so then i decided to take the spark plugs out and they were bone dry with no sign//smell of fuel!

One problem it could be is that the tank is on pretty much empty and it is on a slope (ramps on front), will be one of first thigns i try tomorrow, but if not what could the problem be?? need to get her up and running before friday!!

thanks

What injectors are they just your old ones?

i would put some petrol in it too though as that happen to me in the past when leaving the car off road with low fuel lol

You havent unplugged any sensors have you ? Cause i know when i took my fuel rail out i undone some seonsors and clips to give some room but forgot to plug them back in that caused the car not to start.

Its sometimes the simple things that you forget about that can cause these things to happen too.

Just double check that all is plugged in well ect.

Id try that first get some petrol if its that low and then go from there. :) if it still persists then go back to the drawing board :)

Did you remove the earth connection on the end of the inlet manifold, or did you connect it again properly might be the question?

roughly like but its a start, put some petrol in and off she went, think the problem still is that theres hardly any in the tank tho, going to stick another jerry can in soon
