Spark plug leads

Just a quick one guys. Im going to buy new plugs and leads for my GT. Just want too know if wrapping the leads with foam tape is going to change or alter the performance of the leads. Wouldnt think so, just want to double check. The only reason why i'm thinking of doing it is because the last ones seem to have been rubbing on the intercooler a bit. Thanks guys

Will be fine, aslong as it doesn't have conductive properties as it will alter the signal/weaken the spark going to the plugs
