If my name was spelt wrong then no I wouldn't try it on, if there was any real doubt as to my guilt/actual speed then yes I'd condend it. I was done for speeding in France and I didn't try to get out pf it, I coughed up my fine and fucked off.

wind ya neck in, hes just asking

Not just him though is it, the justice system is already in a state without people telling others to try their luck over a mistake in the spelling of their names.

But I'm forgetting that we have to be nice to everyone, and can't have an opinion that goes againt them.

In a few areas yes but on the whole no. 70 on the motorway is plenty over here, every other country I have driven in/used roads in drive very differently to people in this country.

ok fair enough, but what about 70, on a four lane motorway, at 3 in the morning, in a bentley gt..feels like your going backwards haha

Well thats the time to be taking the risk, but it's still a risk. Time variable speed limits won't work, anything could be occuring then. Believe it or not I've been sat on the M25 at 2am at a standstill because of scheduled roadworks! France has a good system of weather based speed limits, works out at about 65mph if raining and 80ish if dry. Then again their motorway system is so much quieter than ours, I've been sat for 150 miles on one motorway on the way to Le Mans and only seen 4 trucks.

I heard that instead of taking points/a fine you can do some program like a refresher course which is apparently more effective than points and a fine. not sure on how to opt in to doing that other points / a fine though.

Only if it's a first offense and a small amount over the speed limit.
