Sportif/ GT Window Motor & Regulator??

Regulators are a different shape. You could swap the motor across to the old regulator and use your old plug off the old motor to make it plug and play though. If that is just surface corrosion wire brush it and coat it in grease you might get away with reusing it.

Thanks Jay. Maybe I'm best off just getting a motor then.
A couple of members on uks said that they have fitted the later glanza/sportif regulators to ep82s with no issues, but I thought I would double check.

I've had a nightmare with the motors so far. Since taking that pic I have wirebrushed and greased the old reg.

I had 2 passenger side motors spare, so split them, removed the internals and fitted them to drivers side motor, because the internals in that one were fcked.
But on both occasions, when everything was put back together, the plastic internals would just get totally chewed up and the window would just get stuck again. So I'm guessing maybe once you split the motors they can't be reused?

Or do you think it maybe my regulator causing this to happen?

there is a circlip that holds it all together. in most cases it has just come off and refitting will sort it. sometimes either the clip or the groove are worn so it wont hold it place. it will then come apart and chances are it will chew the gears up inside.

I have re-used different parts of different motors and never had any real issues. just swap the bits about to make the best set you can.

Hmm. I must be one of the unlucky ones :(. I put everthing back together twice even the circlip...grooves on the gears were all in perfect working order, but would get chewed to shreads everytime.

Even though the ep91 regulator in the above link is slightly different in shape, will it 100% not fit my GT? Reason being, they look like they have they exact same mounting holes for the screws?
