Standard ECU ???

HELP!! I bought my starlet the other day, the owner advertised it as having an DASTEK ECU, so i removed the ecu only to find it is standard :-(( Does anyone know of a place that can remap the original one?, Or has anyone got a good ecu for sale :)

original can't be mapped as far as i know, the original ecu should still be there, the dastek is wired in, i think

The dastek is a piggyback you should find it either stuck to the original ecu or wired in nearby to the ecu in the loom as there was one in mine many months ago.

As said the standard ecu should still be in place in the centre by the bulk head, the dastek is a piggy back so it will be wired in near the standard ecu, so follow the wires and you should find the dastek.
Also as said the standard one cant be re mapped

I removed the ECU to check it, There is no sign of a piggy back ECU near it :-( So what ECU do you guys use and what is a good one to have ?
