standard headbolts,what max boost/power??

what is the maximum boost pressure/power are standard head bolts able to cope with?

i ran them at 270hp 1.4-1.5bar td04 standard gasket. A whole year it held up. It let go on track day.

im planning to run a max 1.6/1.7 bar on my new turbo,1.4bar daily.

im also intrested too know this considering some options for new year, wanna run 1.7-1.8. an curious if i need too changed too arps. if so i obs need too change headgasket when doing it all.

possibly td05 or gt25 or gt28 just outa curiosity

I was wondering this as i am running a 1.4athena gasket and standard bolts, im running a gt28 and should be getting set up next week at about 1.5/1.6bar so il let you know how it holds up. from the comments here looks like it should be fine!

We had headlift at 1.5bar on stock bolts.

As weeJohn said, ARP can be re-used so are well worth the money

how long was it running 1.5 bar?

ill take my chances with the standard bolts for now,if the head lifts,ill go arp then.

Depends on your compression ratio.

If your cr is lower then standard and your using dished pistons, with your hg you should be ok.

Yup. hybrid runs over 2 bar with td05 on stock bolts, and it goes perfectly fine down the strip plenty of times per event
