Starlet GT boost dropping at 5.5k?

Right current spec is -

HKS actuator
Blits Single solenoid boost controller set at 0.9 bar
Uprated manifold, looks crap but isnt blowing!
FMIC
TOMs plug n play ECU
Standard CT9 turbo
Fujitsu legalis R exhaust inc.decat

Problem isssss. . . very confusing?

Lol right since i have bought the car it seems to dramatically drop boost at about 5.5k from say 13psi to 6psi between 5.5k and 7k revs
I originalluy thought it was the actuator but lots of playing around with this and the boost control leads me to believe it isnt. I originally had a standard ecu and swapped for the toms hoping maybre it was that causing the problem but no change at all.
I am pretty sure my standard CT9 is going, and i know they drop off as standard about 5.5k but i woulda thought with the TOMs ecu this would change, or do the stock CT9s simply run out of puff at like 5.5k?

Other than that because of the precision of it dropping off at 5.5k in every gear i thought it could be one of the follwing-boost controller-manifold is restricting it-fuel starvation

Please any help really appreciated

they do run out of puff at high revs when they have a bit of wear, just cant keep up with the need for more air as the revs rise, check your turbo. check for air leaks too.

your going to hear they run out of puff and loose boost bla bla but iv seein numerous ct9s hold boost to the red line and i think they should hold it if not drop i tiny bit. im having the same problem with my ct9 hybrid, check all your vacuum lines for leaks and your intercooler pipes

as ted said the standard ct 9 runs outta grunt arund the 5.5k mark ive yet to see one to pull to the redline unless its a hybrid i wouldnt worry about it tbh

Cheers for the quick replys guys, as i said the turbo is nackered, i can almost guarante it.
I am not sure where to check for leaks as i know it isnt the intercooler/air filter.
So should i also check the vacum lines from the boost gauge etc?
cheers

Mine loses boost aswell I was told was vacuum piping. But I was thinking need a hks actuator. To hold the boost were can I get the diagram of the set up for the vacuum piping??? I got my alternator rebuilt because I went near 7 k I was told it will take to 6600 but I only go to 6 mine boost to 6.5 then drops to 5.5 as revs go upm

Things to check would be :

Actuator preload
Do you have a dump valve ? Could be leaking
As said, check vacuum hoses/boost hoses etc
Boost controller gain should be about 15%

If you increase the solenoid duty on the boost controller, is it any better ? Could be that you need to play with actuator adjustment vs boost controller duty. The duty at 'say' 6500rpms may need to be more but adjust the actuator and boost controller gain to prevent it overboosting upto 5.5k.

Last time i had same problem my air filter was not clean enough..

This time i used to have a handmade air filter which had been gone too smoky..

I changed it and nowadays i use to have 0.8 bar @ 7000rpm with single ct9a .
