No it explains why there is oil in the intake piping and intercooler.

If your pistons are knackered, the engine will be breathing very heavily and spitting oil through the breather, since the breather is still connected to the bov and intake pipe it explains why there is oil in the intake system.

Can you hear any dodgey knocking noises or anything?

I never thought of that Dave...

Thats a very good point about the engine breathing heavy causing oil in the intake/ BOV.

I best compression test mine.....

UIm certain mine is the turbo though as it only appeared when i fitted decat, and then it was real bad on overun. Changed the turbo and it still burns oil but nothing like before so just guessing the turbo i have on is a little dodgy too.

Will compression test mine soon and once the refitted turbo is on i will know for certain.

Thanks for the clarification, scared me for a moment there cause the turbo seems to be working just fine. Yes, the stock bov is still connected and spitting oil like no tomorow.

I here a small rattle, somewhat of a tap tap tap occasionally threw the usual 4 stroke cycle.....its sync'd somehow....piston noise?
