Starting motor Troubleshooting

Does anyone know how to service a starting motor for a 4efte engine. Can i change parts of it r what?

whats wrong with it mate? they are pretty robust.

ive had mine apart to clean and lubricate it and it was pretty easy if you have the tools and bit of engineering skill.

well when i start the car all the dashboard lights go out like if. I think it is polling or something not sure . How can i get it to service it? and when i do what to check for etc...

its hard to explain mate. if you dont know what you are doing best take it to someone who does.

you sure the battery isnt just dead?
