steering rack rattle/knock

hi everyone! hoping for a little hand with my problem! just recently bought a 94 gt and it needed alot of work to get it goin so in the last 2weeks i have added these
hdi fmic
hks ssqv
hks actuator
grooved and dimpled over size discs
ebc yellow stuff pads
magnacore kv85 leads
new coil and ignitor
omp steering wheel and boss
corbeau seats
walbro fuel pump
manual bc
rrfpr
new starter
apexi neo afc
hks fcd
hid lights

the first test drive was fine after setting the fuel pressure right
the second time my mate took her for a spin and apperently she rattles about and feels like somethings loose underneath but on stood idol she runs fine!
he said it felt as if it was against the steering column but doesnt do anything when its stood and dry turning the wheels! nothing is loose and have checked all obvious things to be loose! any ideas? shes currently in my garage behind a 206gti and a megane coupe which dont run so abit of a ball ache gettin em all out to check it so any words of wisdom before i move em all will be much appriciated! rep waiting

check the discs to make sure they are on properly, may be worth getting the front wheels balanced too

Start with the basics, get her on a jack and check for play in the suspension, leave it running when doing this!

could also be something silly like engine mounts. if they are knackered the engine could be swinging about.

Bushes and track rod end faults cause rattles, problem is the noise travels along the bits into the cabin and sends you off in the wrong direction, just go over everything.
