stereo fitment

Guys i have like 3 metal panel things which look like it goes in the DIN slot for the stereo as its just an empty space just now.
Can any one post up any photots of how it sohuld look without a stereo, or can any one tell me if i need these fitted for a double din unit?

looking to get a head unit soonish so need to try sort this.

P.S its in a starlet.

Right, here are the plates i have. are these all i need?

i think i have managed to source 2 plates from ebay with screws so hopefully get this fitted..
where is the best plase for the cables?

Not sure what cables you need, but you should be able to get most from Toyota okay. I ordered all my screws, and tray for single DIN okay from them.

The brackets are marked L and R for each side etc I think.
 
Sorry to jump on this thread but I have two single din stereo units and cant see how to remove them from the dash as they are secured to the brackets. How do I go about removing them without damaging anything.

Unscrew the screws top and bottom on the brackets, pull the whole assembly out, and unscrew the stereo unit from the brackets. Piece of pie.

To topic starter, in the first picture, left and bottom bracket fit in place, with the holes for the screws on the places where the holes in the dash are. Haven't seen the right bracket before.

so all i need is one more bracket?

so their is a bracket on the left and right but also ones under neath?
