imo them same size hybrids is waste of time, i had couple of them my self and made same power as my ct9b at same boost. did you got your car going after sleek fx?

haha! Im happy enough with them!!

Nearly there now, ready to race for the year ;)

1,320 feet equals a 1/4 mile here in America.

Don't know what kind of distance you all race.

nice result mate. your car would no doubt be very well set up and you know how to shift it.. allot of higher HP guys struggle to do those kinds of times.

put a pic of your time slip and more details here: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47521

If you only knew how many visits my little car has made to the track this year lol!

Car definitely be in the 13.5x range with LSD, slicks, better clutch (or whatever is causing me issue's).

People are more amazed by my 1/8th mile times rather than my 1/4 mile times, but no one really understands how small a CT9 turbo is. As we all know small turbo's spool quick, but run out on the big end.

i would believe its been to a few to be doing those kinds of times takes alot of practice and toying with the car set up and driver technique

last season i did 7 meetings and over 50 runs this season just gone i did 4 meetings and 28 runs

speaking from my own experience as i have been through exactly what you are currently doing you will be struggling to get into the mid 13s without more power. i dont mean that in a negative way though, i would love to see more people useing ct9s and doing well they are grossly overlooked but its not easy from there on in.

2.1 60ft is fair moving for a fwd street car.
An LSD will make some difference but not a whole heep, you might make .1 of a second on the 60ft but not much more.
with a ct9 and its limited power when you hit the 13sec bracket you are right on the limit of diminishing returns for the 60ft vs end track time differential. so you are likely to only see .1sec fall off your et for .1sec at the 60ft
you will also find that power and most importantly torque is limited on the ct9 and you will need more of both to get the 60ft below 2.0sec even with a perfect launch, you become power limited in what you can acheive.

as for your 1/8th mile times i found exactly the same thing but its to be expected with the size of the ct9, its always going to be top end limited.
i do 8.2sec 1/8th mile and am doing 83-84MPH but only just over 101-2MPH at the end

good luck and keep up the awesome work its good to see some more fokes getting successful drag times from a ct9 turbo. keep us posted on how you get on

cheers
Ryan
