Will that not be like coilovers and leave the car really jumpy?is that rod your on about a big job or where does it go, or where do i get one and how much €€€ ?
Ok il have to check that out cause it's driving me round the bend at this stage.i have 17" RS 5's on my car and when i first bought it there was lowering springs in it and it didnt rub but now it is with new ones i got.i dont want the car too high either and im not sure how much it was lowered but if i could have 40ml between the tyre and the arch without it rubbing i would be happy.do you think i could have that with those tein springs and the kyb shocks?my tire size is 205, 40, R17 .would that work for me?and what is the panhard rod?panhard rod is a must unless your lucky enough to get wheels with the perfect offset so they dont rub.
like stated, best upgrade from stock suspension would be uprated dampers or at least standard replacement kyb's and tein springs. there are other springs that go lower, but i have tein springs and they are superb.
past that you can go for tein super streets (which i have), then if you want harder more track orientated suspension then look at the D2's BC coilovers and teins etc if you have the money.
