Hello World

My Name is Andy. I`m 28. Im from Switzerland as the title suggests.
I work for a company which makes machines for the semiconductor industry.

On Thursday i got finally my 1997 Glanza. I love it. She is in white but has quite a few scars. The bonnet, a Toyota carbon item, has a broken clear coat, so it doesnt look how it should and it dont close correct.
The swiss "MOT" is very strict so the bonnet has anyway to go...
Other things dont work how they should. If i activate high beam the engine begins to "jerk).
THe brakes have seized.
I hope i can fix all things.
At the moment im preparing myself and the car for MOT. If im lucky it won`t stress my wallet to much.

You see i have quite a lot work to do. If you have some parts for sell which i could use (bonnet) feel free to contact me.

Best regards

Andy

Welcome along, those faults wont be hard to fix, there is plenty of information about brakes and I think your jerky engine could be down to the throttle position sensor or the idle up control for when a load is put on the alternator.

The search button on the top right of the page of each section will be a good friend, anything you cant find, just ask mate!

Welcome along.

Put some pics up on the forum, I don't have a facebook -)

Speak to Jay he has a lot of spares for sale, he might help. Front brakes are the same as the UK starlet, so it will be easy to get the calipers/discs/pads for it. The rear calipers will be harder to source and will cost more. Also have a look at www.camskill.co.uk I'm not sure but I think they post to certain European countries as well.
