Tackling my gearbox oil

Lads I'm goin to have a go off this Thursday I think,


I read the tutorial but in the first pic I'm not sure which bolt they are on about? Can someone help?

Also how do I know if I have an LSD & which gearbox oil to choose??

Standard gearbox oil that is recommended for a NON LSD gearbox = 75w90 (normal use).

gear box oil to use 75w-90 gearbox takes 2.5 L

The top bolt is where you poor the gearbox oil

Then jack the car up on the side off the gearbox is a big side bolt, thats to drain the oil.
To check you have a L.S.D jack the car up the spin the wheel if both off the wheels go the same way round you have a .L.S.D.

i do aswell for the simple fact they dont make funnels small enough for that top bolt!!

jack the car up and sucure on axel stands!

i do aswell for the simple fact they dont make funnels small enough for that top bolt!!

I used the top bolt as per my guide that I wrote up. Just bought a cheap funnel and it was fine.

In my tutorial it is pretty clear when you get under which bolt is which I think

I use trolley jack but it didnt go up much. baught pair axle stands from halfruads for 15 doller.
Raise car quite high, makes the car lift quite high in the air.
