TD04 External Wastgate Issues

Hi guys
Need a bit of advice, fitted my new td04 system at the weekend it has a tail external but didn't no how to plumb it up, I have a manual boost controller at the mo as I'm brassic from buying the kit, looked up on tial's website for a wiring diagram which I found and plumbed it that way but it is still way over boosting, wondered if anyone knew how to plumb it?

What size spring have you got in?

Run a single vacuum line from the compressor housing of the turbo to the bottom/side of the wastegate. Leave the top port open to atmosphere.

That will make it run at spring pressure, and is the lowest boost the car will run with the setup as it is Might be worth asking for the spring size from whoever you got the wastegate from.

So in theory from the turbo to the controller then to the bottom of the Wastgate Ye?

Take the controller out for now, see what boost it runs and that it is stable with a single line as above.

As above if its running at .6bar and you want 1 bar put a 1 bar spring in it. Avoid manual boost controllers there Doggo!!
