Td04 to td05

Hi I have a td04 on my ep91 glanza, how much would it be to change it to a td05 and what would I need to do

Only thing you'd need to do would be buy the turbo(£100) get a remap and maybe injectors if yours won't cope, remember it is quite a bit laggier and Youl lose bottom end power, but top end makes up for it as it will pull stronger in 3rd 4th and 5th, I'd say 0-60 is slower though in fairness. Have you been in a td05 starlet?

Is your engine forged? Pointless running a td05 unless its on a forged engine as you will never make the most of it. Even a td04 at 1 bar is just being tiggled.

Yep, got mine around a year ago for £100, got a td04 for like £70, both were spot on, their so easy to come by
