prob a stuped question but would a bare td04(nottin else just turbo) be a direct fit in place of ct9?

no mate, completely different set up,

you will need a manifold/downpipe to suit
fmic piping
oil/water lines
actuator bracket
new management
brakes

loads of things!

will cost you alot to do a td04 conversion

have a search mate, theres loads of info on the td04 conversion, been covered loooads of times :)

no a td04 on its one wont be a direct replacement, you will need a new manifold to suit the td04 flange or you can get an adapter plate made up. And you'll also need a td04 decat aswell.

fmic piping to be modified
actuator bracket or ex wastegate
oil/water lines to suit turbo
management
brakes etc

thanks i was thinkin that. reps added

if your looking for a ct9 replacement, why dont you go for a ct9 hybrid, you will still need a new manifold and dowpipe to handle the increased boost, and a fmic and the usual supporting mods if you havent got them, but may be abit easier and will see you around 200bhp on a good map :)
