As above, anything under the standard fuel cut and you should be fine. Have a wideband hooked up just to be sure.
Mine run fine at 0.7 bar for a while.

thanks lads, theres no place up here in shetland to get a car mapped, got a real fancy ecu ready to be fitted and mapped too. what sort of boost would i be able to run before i hit fuel cut? ive got all the supporting mods bar the aftermarket ecu fitted, would like to run about a bar?

Standard ECU fuel cuts around 12-13 psi (0.8 bar)

Can you not take a trip over to the mainland to have it mapped?

i will be comming down the end of feb time, but i can only get the weekend off. i would wire the ecu myself but ive never seen such a complicated ecu (e6x haltech) dont even know if i would get it mapped on the mainland, heard so much bad coments from people about the local tuners. would love to take it over to ireland and get ecc too map it

depends what boost you wanna run mate, wideband is the probe they put up your exhaust to check emmisions, works on same principal as your narrow band lamda sensor on your exhaust, will basically tell the tuner if its to lean or to rich.

mods you want a rrfpr (sard fse etc) 255lph feul pump, maybe a safc2 and a fcd :) think thats all of it.

may want to invest in a electronic boost controller as well

I think the standard actuator on the td04 is 0.5 bar so I was goin to do on more then 7 anyway so I can save for a e manage then I want to forge it anyway
thanks for the help

waste of time if your still using the standard ecu.

He will have all of his parts fitted, ready to just plug in his ECU and go and get it mapped. So I dont think its a waste of time,i done the same for over a week (using very little boost or none at all) and it meant i didn't have to fit everything when i got to the tuners.

He's not looking for performance gains by doing this, just to make life easier.

Pretty sure its .4 at its lowest, although mine could have been different to your own :)

Usually over .9 bar your injectors are nearly at there limit so either a FPR to increase the flow or 330cc injectors.
You shouldn't need a 255 fuel pump, but if your still using the stock one from when the car was made it might not be running 100%.
I wouldn't fit the 330's until you get your ECU though.

So I could just put the kit on and just run it standard for a bit till I got the money to get a e manage and have it mapped and running proper till I get one wot mods wood I need because I no when you get the e manage you don't need a fcd I think so wot wood I need to run it on a standard ecu for a bit

Just to be safe remove an FCD if you have one, that will stop it from going over .8
If your planning on running it a few weeks a FPR should be fine to just check over the fuelling, but to be honest if you buy one new,its something like 120-150 and for not much more you'd get an emanage blue second hand. Then just save for the map :)

But under .8 should be fine as said, and if you planning on using it like that for a long time get an FPR and get the fueling checked over and adjusted if needs be.
