tdo4 max boost stock injectors mines ecu

Bigger Toyota injectors aren't hard to find. I personally use 7MGE 315cc since i use a Blitz Access and a td04-11b. Those running td04-15g use GZE 365cc or DSM/WRX 430cc. These are all cheap and easy to find. Probably less than the pump and/or fpr combo.

are the wrx injectors a direct fit then... i have heard of them being used but have found any info about the fitting of them...?

All those injectors are a physical fit, the WRX and GZE injectors require a resistor pack since they're a difference impedance

way to lean.. you want it 11.8 and also you need to know if the engine is detting/knocking with det cans

personally i'd look at some 360cc or a minimum of 330cc for a td04L at 1 bar or more...just to be safe

obviously i'm talking of having some kind of standalone or piggy back to properly tune them

yes, i know members have run td04 on stock injectors, but i'm with hardcoreep on this one....i'm another island boy...lol

12.8 is way too lean

ultimate...the guy you need to speak to about this is chris from ccm,he has mapped heaps of starlets with similar specs to yours,or nick from tuning devlopments,or there is dave from tm devlopments...these are all guys that do it with in the uk or there is john from ecc as well ,they have all been involved with big power starlets..not forgetting the pukka perfomance lads as well...

Since you already have the mines ECU, don't waste your time with the ultimate. Just get the EMB with the injector and ignition harnesses and have those factors tuned.

personally bud i would sell that mines and get yer self a emu or pfc or summit similar and get in touch with some of the guys i mentioned above, they will keep ye right...but as i said at the start of your post 1 bar is safe to run standard injectors, just get the fuelling checked..the emu is a more cabable unit than the emanage blue, well worth the moneyif you ar using a emanage there is no need to have that mines ecu in there take it out and sell it to fund yer emanage and a map,job done...ps the emanage is a piggy back so you will need yer standard ecu in there to configure with.

Its just called an eManage, but because its the color blue people call it the EMB or emanage blue. The EMU, or emanage ultimate is black, so that's why they don't call that one the EMB as well + its official name is emanage ultimate.

If you have a standard ECU then the Emanage Ultimate will be the better buy because a)it can raise the rev limiter and b)remove the speed limiter which the lower EMB cannot do. As far as programming you're not going to be able to beat the MINE'S ECU, so basically what you're doing is trimming the fuel levels to match your target AFR (air/fuel ratio). Half the stuff on the EMU is useless to begin with for the average Starlet and 80% of the guys on this site don't use more than 30% of the EMU's ability, so I don't see it being worth the extra money if you already have a good base program like the MINE'S. I do agree you will need dyno time to tune the car and bigger injectors.
