So know i have my new setup nearly complet!

I have

Jam Racing ECU

Ross 74,5mm pistons
Pauter forged rods
all gaskets new
1,2mm metal heatgasket
uprated valve springs

ss mani
ss downpipe
td04l turbo with internal wastegate
330cc injectors



So i am waiting on my boostcontroler now i want to know how much will the td04l boost without boostcontroller and jam racing ecu! And stock actuator!

When I had a TD04 on my Impreza 1.2 bar of boost was the optimum. I did have it mapped for 1.5 bar but the boost wasnt stable and fluctuated quite badly.

Very difficult to say, depends on how free flowing your intake and exhaust are.

Jay ran his 04 on the trackcar recently on a stock engine and it only produced 0.4 bar.

Its a rough guideline for you.

depends on the ecu. if its a jam ct9 ecu then maybe not. the last jam ecu i ran with a td04 definitely would have. get a wideband test
