Lol I failed >.< took it off... I tried swooping the main but around and still no joy cuz then it's would b diagonal which I doubts ment to b like that.

So I got to this stage which is not that different from before but if I tighten back bolt I won't b able to fit main bolt in -.- tried to see if bar would fit anywhere else and no -.-

Are you trying to fit these to an EP82 or EP91?

As usual with these companys that just copy other poeples hard work and products they never look into things fully and the fact that when you look at the Cusco ones the EP91 and EP82 ones are totally different so i don't see how there one which looks like a poor copy of the EP91 one can fit both. This might be your problem.

Buy cheap buy twice.........

Well the kit I have seems to b for a EP91 cuz one of the bars goes to the back while ep82 goes upwards. Tegiwa state it fits both ep82 and ep91. Very doubt that. For a pic of the box.

It's a good piece of kit, just don't overtighten too much, I know that Ian from CRD would reply that it's all bollox and you can tighten it as much as you like, but make your own opinion on that, if it wasn't important it wouldn't be adjustable.

I've been thinking why it doesn't fit properly and I just thought of the reason why. My engine mount bolt is very long and since the lil part which screws onto that means its further forward so ends up closer to the MS and the reason for the supporting bar not sitting flush!! Wonder if that's the same on all ep91?

My glanza has a short bolt on the engine mount, so the double nut fits perfectly and sits flush against the engine mount. Maybe that's why it doesn't fit on you car. Hopefully i'll be able to get it on, kind of sick of it now

Yeah that's the reason, u think u can measure how long ur one sticks out of the engine mount? Wonder if its wise to cut some of the bolt on the engine mount?

i ordered one and got it fitted today and i have to say apart from drilling a hole 1 size bigger it was a piece of cake to fit and wow it has improved the braking and hardened the feel of the brake pedal...

heres some pics

Did you use the original bolt from the power steering to attach the 2nd part of the brake stopper(not the part attached to the engine mount, but the 2nd part) ?

How did you get all the stuff in? I've got decent paws but i can't get in between everything..

sorry i forgot to add i did replace the bolt that holds the power steering hose bracket with a 10mm longer one just in case and i replaced the main bolt rather than use the allen key headed bolt which seemed a little long.

i removed the engine damper i had in the way and then just got on with it but yeh its damn tight and the back of my hand is scratched to buggery lol. i just took my time and tbf it didnt take long at all

Do you know which thread size the power steering bracket bolt is then? It's a rather thin bolt, and it's a little long, but i couldn't get the brake stopper part in between the rubber and the car, so i gave up. Just need to know the bolt size, and then i can get on with mounting it...

I can probably cut away a little bit of rubber on either side of the bracket, so it gets a little thinner and the bolt can get in the hol (lol). I'll try it tomorrow. Good pictures though!

So, fitted the brake stopper today. Hands are scratched and bruised. But the brake stopper is in. The brake stopper fits spot on, probably because the bolt on the engine mount is a little shorter on the ep91. Used the original bolt from the power steering, i've just cut away a bit of the rubber, so the bolt could get in the hole. Tightened everything, i'll do a test drive in a minute, first take a shower. The images posted above helped a lot, so everyone who is about to fit a tegiwa brake stopper on a ep91, it fits and you can use this topic as reference!

This mod doesn't technically 'improve' your brakes does it, just the way the pedal feels etc - which would be ideal as mine feel rather spongy, once fitted did you notice a good improvement, would you recommend?
