Hi all, i sold my Glanza a few months ago and bought an ek4 sir honda civic, yes i know common as muck and all that so spare the insults, as of yet i have yet to see why they are so popular, there a nice lookin car and fast in vtec, but there just not a toyota, i loved the torque of the turbo and it was just so lively, civics are nothin special until they hit vtec, so sellin the vtec and on the look out for something rare, what i d'ont know?

you want summit rare and fast as fook i take it, look for a mazda 323/Familia GT-R or GT-X. i used to have GT-R, 210 bhp as standard, 4WD. regret part exing mine for a hilux two year ago.

the 323's are expensive for parts are they not? this has been covered many times,...try searching,..tho i think all the cars we wud suggest you would already know...

get another gt,...i had a glanza,then a pulsar but found my way back to a gt ,really cant beat them!!

something rare and jap can't beat a mitsi eclipse, hardly ever see them. Un fortunatly alot are either fwd or lhd, which is probably the reason why.

Mitsubishi Eclipse isn't Japanese it's american they don't have the Eclipse in Japan it is made for the american market hence why it's lhd

Yeah Eclipse is an odd car, that one in Fast and Furious what were they thinking esp with that burly guy driving it in purple flip paint with the roof down :homer:

Like Aaron said it's easy to come back to the Starbo again. The SC300 or Soarer is a lovely car, cheap to buy and reliable. The manual twin turbos are hard to come by these days but there cracking cars..

You like Toyota's, go for an ST185 GT-4 (pop-up headlights), ST205 GT-4 (quad headlights), Supra, or come back to the Starlet family. :)

I believe there are jdm spec eclipses but i think they are newer. I can never remember what specs came from where. Either way it's rare and it is jap and an awesome car the only thing is the turbo's can get crank walk just like in the evo.

oh yeah the 323`s are expensive for bits 95 quid for one damper but on the other hand mine was really reliable so never had fork out a great deal.

mates got a 323GTR and had it for well over a year now..... they are god cars in general... hes had propblems with his since the day he bought it, no joke, still in repairs now....

Easy power gains BUT rare and very hard to source certain parts......

Rare and jap.... you want something really rar go real old school... what about a 240Z with a 300ZX engine :D that would be sweeet!

A Supra? Keep it Toyota! Just saying this 'cos I was driving home on the motorway and a stunning looking one came up along side me, and as we all know, they are stupidly fast! And look gorgeous obviously!

Not rare really, but awesome nonetheless!

I like the idea of a Supra but you'd probably need a towbar on it for the fuel bowser you'd have to bring along with you, i think i'll get a gt if i can find one minty clean :gt-smilie:

Very true, especially with fuel prices as they are now, cost more to run for a month than the price of a nice starbo lol :p

nah serious, what bout evo? i know theres alot of them and expensive but awesome cars man, depends if you can afford to run it daily lol, i know i cudnt thats why not dreaming about them yet....................maybe after a year or 2 :p
