LOL, awful movie. Sorry.
The camera work was so bad, the special effects looked really cheap, digital blood, loads of scenes in the plane etc.
Was hilarious watching Stallone run around, i was literally laughing out loud! At one point he runs to jump on a plane, its the funniest thing ever.
The monologue seen was hilarious, there was a good few people sitting next to me laughing.
A few times there's about 10 enemies and none of them shoot someone standing right infront of them as the person systematically takes them out one by one. Amazing. I didn't know they still made action movies this wank anymore, apart from Uwe Boll.
I could go on but there isn't enough time in the world.

as i said, leave your brain at the door! its a tribute to 80's action movies, its gonna be bad if you go in expecting too much! the point was to kill everyone and blow everything up, and it delivered, simple! if you didn't like it, thats down to your inflated expectations.

oh normally i'd be the 1st one to complain, about far fetched stunts and the like! but i was in the mood for some mindless action and seeing stuff blown up, and it did it for me :haha:

But i love 80's action movies! Just not shit ones. That movie was NOT in anyway a tribute to any 80's action movie, it was nothing like any of them, with the exception of Commando, which was still a million times better.
I usually leave my brain at the door in an action movie, when shit movies like this come out and make me think about how shit everything is how's that my fault, when i start noticing how bad camera work is and direction who's to blame?
Why spend millions on getting all these famous people and then use CGI all over the place to save money? It's insane.
I also said when the trailers was out and all my mates were "ahh man that looks well sick" i was like "no it looks fucking awful, it will be an awful movie" I had no expectations of it being some super great action movie cos Sly was directing and he's wank.
If the movie would have killed everything and hadn't used digital blood. I would be well happy.
If the fight correography was less cliché i would have been happy. But it wasn't.
If anyone other than Sly was directing it would have been a sick movie. FACT.

Third and fourth i'm giving the movie abuse, so i'm surely not contradicting any previous statement.

This was a pretty good popcorn movie my view.
I don't see why people went to see it and then complained that it wasn't fucking shakespear
The main reason I went to see it was the cast, dolph lungren and sly in the same scene alone is worth it.
The film had loads in common with commando, which is another good movie-dis engage brain.
The automatic shotgun was flipping nuts and gave me and my mates a good laugh.

better than i thought it was going to be, cgi a bit hmm and jet li fight scenes wernt da best but looking past dat great fun! shoutgun scene :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

I kind of agree with Starlet_SamMum.
The movie was very linear and i think that Sly the old bastard ruined it. His face was about to fall off for godsake, and yes the CGI wasnt the best but i did like the action and the one line jokes from the cast. Mickey Rouke looked plastic, seemed he struggled to tell that story about the girl he let die and what was funny was that the 'love interest' in the movie was between a 60 year old guy and a young girl! LOL!
Make Jason the star and sly the co-star then it would have been better but the old timers ruin it IMO except for Dolph of course! He rules. Hes The Punisher!!!!
