I was hoping to get either a starlet, mx5, Silvia zx 1.8T or something else rwd but when I saw this golf Gti in virtually mint condition reminded me of my old one and had to have it! I pick it up Friday or Tuesday!

Cheers guys it's the 1.8 16V gti got it down to 1300 in the end from 1500 which wasnt bad, while I was there people kept ringing the guy so I was pretty lucky to get it It's on coilovers, bbs alloys and a few styling mods. The guy went crazy and bought virtually every bush and replaced when aswell as water pump and under sealed the whole car aswell. was very clean almost like my old 'Driver'

Haha, Yeah old golf was the most reliable car I had, bar the simple things that went wrong (split in vac pipe = huge stall on a busy london roundabout, not fun!) this one don't seem to have anything wrong (except I'll wanna get the cambelt sorted as he had no idea when it was done, hence knocking a few hundread off!)

Cheers bud and that's true, every mk2 in tornado red I've seen bar the one I had has faded proper! This ones virtually mint think I'll try and keep it that way =)
