Are the readings in the emanage data log and the display actually in sync/reading the same AFR? Can i ask where did u put your sensor in the exhaust?

well the closest i came to them in sync like i said above is something like close 0.2af.. so not that shabby really, sadly u cant get it more accurate..

i put the aem 30 inches back from the turbo, just 2 inhes in front of the beginning of the rear engine mount :)

Hmmm i have noticed than when i REVERSE my throttle settings and switch my car off, it will not switch back on at all ... until i change it back to NORMAL.

Probally because my mapper setup the car on NORMAL and not REVERSE, Launch Control does work ... havent tried it on NORMAL yet with the LC settings.

Injector Lag Time

Just curious under the i/j tab in the EMU we normally set the old injector size to 295 in the before field and in my case 360 in the after field. My question is what actually the lag time is? what is the use of that value that goes in there? and also what is the value i should put if any in the both fields? The 360cc injectors i use if from a mazda 323 gtx and are direct bolt on.

alright guys ive got 3 questions here !

1) do i put a T-tube into the stock pressure sensors tube to take a line for the greddy pressure sensor ?

2) i got the optional A/f input wires , theres a white wire and a another one lol , which is the earth wire ?!

3) my laptop is a circus of trojans and spyware , will that affect the Emu in any wya when i hook it up ?

cheers !

1.) yes u want it as accurate as possible, & more accurate than being hooked up to the same place as the oem map sensor is impossible lol.. so yeah T it in there :)

2.) white is the signal, grey is the earth...

3.) well i think u should format 1st.. wouldnt want that laptop to fuck the emu would we lol..

I was looking at tuning developments GT with an EMU and seen that they have an injector adapter No.2. Is that adapter really needed

the point of having the harness is not cause it will overfuel or anything like that... but since the oem ecu has its own "fuzzy logic" it can make u swear by randomly not responding to the changes made in the fuel tables... ie TROUBLE.. so what we do is hook up the i/j adaptor no2 to give us full control of the ecu, whilst not allowing the oem ecu to change any values.. thus u have a more stable map & alot less glitches which are caused by the interaction of the oem ecu with the emu.. stuff like bad idle, not starting, overfuelling on closed loop.. etc :)

thats the whole thing really ;)

alright guys the car is running as of now :)
only problem im left with now is water temp reading is dead on the dash !
got it set in the parameters , and got jumper 13 set to OPEN , the manual however states it should be set to 1-2 for water temp ?!

where do i go from there ?

dont bother to read the manual bro, there is a misprint in it unless you are hooked up to a greddy water temp sensor then it should be "open"..

have a look at the u2u i sent you bro, it should help a little :)

alright folks,

Has anyone tried the shift up feature yet? i normally use this as a soft cut set just below the ign cut so that the engine doesn't over rev accidentally, just wondering what everyone else uses
