Thermostat gone?

Hi, noticed after buying my car that it never gets up to temp. if i let it idle for A LONG TIME it does, but as soon as i drive for about to mins it cools right down. is my thermostat stuck open or something? what do you lot think? cheers

Replace with new thermostat

Also check your rad cap and if still no joy then may be your heater matrix is blocked.

If it was me id bleed the system and if that dont work its most defo the thermo

Cheers guys just bought a new thermostat, fit that sometime soon. hopefully that should fix it, also bought some wipers when taking the old ones off one of them was glued to the wiper arm so i thought ok i'll rip it off, then realised why it was glued. the metal bracket was missing. now i need one of those aswell!

It should be the thermostat, mine was having the same problem, a new thermostat sorted it out

also check if the fan is ok or not
