these external wastegates any good ?

hey guys,

i have decided im going to be running a ct9 @ 1 bar and am not up for the boost creep associated with this.

my plan is to by a manifold and get an external waste gate fitted to solve this problem

my question is are these waste gates going to be ok ? i know i will have to get it welded up to the mani etc

Get a tial wastegate much better and more reliable

I would say tial X2. See keith at zisco he is selling wastegates at a good price.

just how bad is the boost creep with a standard ct9 at 1 bar ?

any body have experience ?

what about if i port wastegate and get a hks actuator ?

x3 on the tial I run one my self there spot on cost quite a bit but well worth it

Don't buy cheap nasty crap off ebay mate, it could cost you an engine. Buy from a reputable seller/trader and buy a good brand that you know. Tial gets my vote but they aren't cheap.

yep genuine tial all the way from a dealer as the warrantee's are honoured then not that I've ever had one go wrong myself.

Get a tial. You can find genuine ones on ebay as closeouts if you're not too picky about color. I got a purple .6 bar for 200usd I think

these off ebay are shite the metal ring that is suposed to seal it when bolted to your manifold doesnt sit flush and doesnt seal i had two of them and both were shite so i got a tial one instead
