Think I gots a boost leak

It makes a boosty leaking noise :( but I don't know where to look and it's irritating the living hell out of me :( pls advise

What noise is it making a high pitched whistle? do you have a boost gauge? if so has the boost dropped ?
Check your intercooler pipes to start.

high pitched, standard boost gauge, boost has dropped a little bit... thank you will check the intercooler pipes tomorrow :) thank you very much

Mine made a high pitched whistle a higher revs when i had it, but the boost didnt drop could never figure it out.

The pipes are new, buuuuttt... I had to repair a split on the old vacuum pipe as they just fitted the new tish valve and blanked off the old one but left it there... and there was leak there before, that got some of it back then it went a bit pants again.

(how odd that we are online at odd times on a friday night/sat morning!)

mine is d same really high pitched scream/whistle that comes in around 5k rpm,im thinkin its the gasket between manifold and the block perhaps or something along those lines....would like to know what it is as its very annoying,no drop in boost for me either

check inbetween where cooler attaches to ct9. when mine was squealing like a bitch once and this is where it was leaking from :)

Mix a little fairy liquid in water and brush it around a couple of the pipe joints then go for a boost run.

A small leak will produce loads of bubbles where the mixture is brushed on.

Only do a couple of a joints at a time or the mixture runs off and you can miss the leak.

i had this squeel at full boost at around 5000prm rele hi piched


but thinking about it now after fittin new mani and new gaskets i have not hurd it since .................;)
