Hi all,

I've been getting a vibrating noise sounds like from the gearbox! When clutch is engaged noise stops..

Also got a very high bite point guy I brought it from was unsure if it had a paddle clutch?! How do I go about adjusting the clutch?

I remember my Dad's IS200 did that, it was the release bearing.

Sorry Ray, couldnt help myself. A faulty release bearing will loose its rattle when the clutch is pressed, but the long travel on your clutch could mean the clutch is worn, and the rattle could mean a broken spring on the friction plate. There is not real adjustment on the clutch, there is a small amount at the pedal but that is really only to take up the free play, so its looking like you are going to have to take the box off and have a look at the clutch.
