wat game where you watchin???you tink united played there best??:haha: not a hope.... they wer sloppy as fuck!! given possesion away nearly every time..over hitting the ball to each other happened i dont no how many times..they played the worst football i seen in a long time...barca played at there best no doubt about it..but they had all the time they wanted and they made use of it...the better team won!! there's not 1 man u fan that would turn round and say man u deserved to win last night and if they do there total idiots..

The same one as you and everybody else, i think united weren't allowed play there usual football because of barcelona, not because they had a night off. couldn't get near the ball and when they did occasionally they looked like a bit of a threat. Barca played near there best and united couldn't stay with them imo.

then why in the first 10 mins wer we all over them??? its was that first goal that fucked us up!! and from there on it was the worst united performance in a long time.. thats the reason,not this bulshit that we wernt allowed to play the usual footie..if that first goal never went in i would of bet me life it would off been a totaly differant game.and i dont mean that to be an excuse either.

Not really i don't think liverpool have been good enough the last 15-20 years, yeah they won a fair few cups, but they were not up to scratch, this season i taught they were good enough to win it but the better side won it in the end.

Because i think united go into games with an edge, most teams fear them which i understand because of uniteds reputation and they are a quality team and just look at there history, i think barca feared united at the start hence the edgy nervous start they made, but when the first goal went in, i think they taught what's there to fear we just walked straight through the middle of them there not as good as us or what we believed. they played there football and united couldn't keep with them.

right we seem to be getting back to the same ting!! you tink united arnt fit to beat barca!! fair enough ill not argue no more then...end of the day this is coming from a liverpool fan!! anybody but united ting yea!!:haha:...united at there best and barca at there best would be a differant story but how an ever it wasnt and barca won..simple as.

Inniesta dived outside the box when im sure it was Xavis freekick hit the post, blaitent dive and sums up Spanish football.
Only reason they dominated was because United were on an off night, United can easily destroy the best teams in Europe and have proven this. They beat Barcelona last year didnt they? Team hasent really changed since.
Scholes tackle was no-were in the league of Pique's, Piques was a professional foul because he knew Ronaldo had the pace to get by him and 1-0. Red card in my eyes everyday. Part from that the ref had a good game, apart from stomping out the divers in Barcelona.

im not for divers at all. and yes it slightly dissapoints me that players are protected so much from physically stronger players.
but inniesta just constantly works with the ball on the blindside of the opposition.
to get to the ball you have to touch him, and in top flight football to touch from the blinsdside, is to foul. not just inniesta, but messi and many others even players from united.
these days if your a strong direct player like say ronaldo or rooney or torres you dont have the same privilages, ronaldo runs straight at a slow defender beats him (or at least kicks the ball into an area slightly behind the defender to setup a race for the ball which he will win) and he is held off or checked face to face or shoulder to shoulder and only 1 in 5 will be a freekick.
to play like beneyoun(sp lol) or messi or hleb or sjneider small fast and always with the ball within their charm, small touches well poistioned body etc and you get more freekicks for clips and pushes because they keep the defender in an awkward position at an awkward distance.
im neither united barca or liverpool fan btw.
but to be biased for one second, if you want to play direct with your body open to the defence you have to have the pace and guile of henry/anelka accepting that you will sometimes have to run away from a player to make it round him.

Lol were you watching the same game as everyone else? United had their full team out missing nobody and Barca missing their three main defenders and they still out classed them.
