Torque vs. Screamer

My setup is currently on 1.2bar running on a screamer. I get 233Nm of torque. My question is will i loose the torque or will there be a slightly decrease in torque if i plumbed the screamer back to the exhaust?..thinking of making my car quiet..is it true screamer pipe will increase the response or is it just a myth..anyone?..thanks in advance

If connected back in at the right angle and distance from the turbo it would make a minimal difference, but it would be trial and error to get it connected at the right length after the turbo but I think.
