Is this true?? Im aware that there are ESVA tests on imported cars but does the car have to be returned to standard to pass??

ESVA requires a model report for cars from 1999 onwards (10 year rule means 1998 cars can be imported with just an sva) so depending on the cars age it can go through with just an sva.
Done a couple of 1998 estimas with no model report. Cars with model reports must match the standard spec on the report that includes body,chassis, and engine and interior.
