Anyone know where i can find any info on them? My mates just bought a 1996 1.6 20v blacktop one. Anyone know the stats for them? What power they are and can be acheived?

They have individual throttle bodies on which is cool...Think my mates revs out at 8k though?

Depending on which trim level and what extras it has, the AE111 (latest shape) Levin varies between 1020kg and 1080kg

Well, based on visuals, tis a BZG, as the BZR has a larger rear wing style spoiler.

And that one also has the Trueno rear lights (which I want! :p)

Cool. So basically most seem to be around 130bhp? Any reason for that? It doesnt seem shy tbh...

Do they all have lsd's?

LSD was optional on the BZG, but standard on the BZR.

But yeah, seem pretty responsive despite being lower power than they say they are :)

Nope, only way is by jacking up, as usual, unless someone knows otherwise.

Best way to increase power is to go the open tb's route - trumpets/stacks, or cone filter per tb, but you'll need better engine management to accomodate it otherwise you could balls up the air fuel ratio big time.

Plenty of options for exhuasts too, and there's a few different exhuast mani's too :)

I had a levin won't go back to n/a again you really had to thrash the shit out of it to get it moving lol good cars for insurance though quick when turboed they sound awesome when they reach over 6500 rpm

went from a glanza turbo to a 98bzr and im happy enough with it.Big difference in driving though.Miss the torque of the turbo but love the pull all the way to the redline.Mine came from japan with tein coilovers,hks mani,de-cat,full kakimoto exhaust,blitz leads and plugs and i just added a apexi filter.Also has strut brace front and rear.The car sings above 6500 revs especially with the full exhaust,heres a few pics of mine
