trying to fit my wilwood brakes with the 3g rotors,i have encountered a problem which is the drivers side disc is rubbing the lower ball joint,i have replaced the lower ball joint with one i got from mark from cmb autos(cheers min!!)but it hasn't cured the problem now i'm wondering could it be that the car may have been' tracked'(tracking..) to much on one side as i have quite a decent gap at the passenger side between rotor/disc..any input appreciated:beer:

wat make of coilovers do u have ?
iv seen this if some one has gave it more camber on one side
at the shocker/hub not the strut tops
my d2's have camber adjustment on the shocker/hub as well as the tops
where bc's dont they only have adjustment on the tops

just grind a little bit off the ball joint. there is plenty of metal on them. i was having the same problem on both sides and i jus ground a bit off and its been spot on ever since

I wouldn't go grinding anything just yet. I would say mark is more than likely spot on with the camber being out at the shocker to hub bolts, try loosening these off and see if you can gain some clearance that way first.

^^^^as above gonna try loosening the strut bolts and hub bolts might just get enough to get the required clearence fingers crossed...

well i was thinking about that but i've been told that's not really a good idea as it would throw the alignment of the caliper out...would i be able to get a 1mm wheel spacer...?

You would probably have to get one made. I thought the kit came with spacers. Does rory not run wilwood? He'd be your best bet

well got this issue resolved now turned out that my car either had a slightly bent hub or it was a uk spec one...big thanks to mark at cmb autos who informed me that there were actually 2 different types of hubs for the ep82..the jdm ones and uk spec ones..now i'm assuming that mine had a uk spec one,and thanks to mark who sorted me out with a hub from cats car..top bloke, a wealth of knowledge when it comes to ep's...thanks once again for every ones input ..
