Silly question but why do people reckommed yellow stuff pads when there for track use do they get enough heat into them

we have yellow stuff in our track car. it isnt the most extreme ebc compound, orange stuff is harder. yellow is fine for road, just dont expect them to bed in for a while even with their special coating to help it.
