Tunning with Vafc 1

Guys i need a bit of help

Here is what i am running
4efte
td04hl-15t @ 7psi
Bigger FMIC
Stock fuel pump with an FPR

The car runs fine and great , but i think i can still squeeze a bit more on the same boost and be safe as well . Now the problem is where i live piggy banks (vafc2 , safc, stand alone ecu`s etc ) are hell lota expensive . A friend on mine is selling his vafc1 at a good price . I was thinking of picking that up . Now I read on the net that vafc1 doesnot offer that much of tunning options as the vafc2 and safc .
I want all of your opinions on this ...should i go for it or not ? if yes how much will be the gains i be getting ? Also will i be able to turn the boost up to 1 bar and be safe at the same time ?

you know V-AFCs are for VTEC's and the SAFC is for a normal engine, like a 4e

Yep , but vafc does have options for tunning fuel as well ?rite?

Yes get it! it does not matter it is just a newer model than the afc.

Bumping this up a bit .... I am getting a really good deal on a an Apexi VAFC2... should i go with it ? ..I plan to have the tunning done with a wideband afterwards ...

Will the VAFC2 do the job ?

do it, i have one in my car with great success. you can do tuning with a wideband kit after. get it!

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between a Vafc2 Black and a simple vafc2 like this one ?
