Turbo oil seal gone???

can any1 tell me the sign's if the oil seal goes on a turbo (ct9) plz

car will smoke on idle after a bit of boosting, also could smoke whilst boosting

how would oil get in 2 my intercooler pipe??

not the 1 coming from the innlet, the intercooler pipe next 2 the exhaust manifold??

that'd happen from leaky oil seals on turbo too mate.

From experience with my old car, you will also get a lot of white smoke on idle, and blue smoke once you start driving again.

What Mike has said would probably be the first main sign.

You could also see if there is oil in your downpipe.

it still doesn't smoke on idle wot so ever.

and onli kicks out abit ov smoke when really drivin hard 2wards the end ov gears.

If its a puff on the overrun its maybe just unburn fuel.

Is the smoke a black colour?

or smoke an oil coming out the dump valve is a sign

SCOOBY-MODDERS - yeh when i drive hard its a black grey colour.

spoonz - no oil coming from dump valve. but traces ov old oil ive just checked. not really any fresh oil tho.

dint no weather u ment smoke from dump valve or exhaust so i checked both and neither are smoking.

the onli reason i found out is cos the intercooler pipe popped off on the motorway this morning and when i had a look there was abit ov oil in between the samco hose n the metal pipe. and with it been lubed up it popped off again on way home??

i did have 2 drive say another 7 mile with the intercoller pipe disconnected.

would that create a leak ov oil 4 any reason??
