turbo screech under load

I have recently had the turbo off and fitted a manifold, decat etc.

when driving under load the turbo makes a screeching sound almost fan belt like (I've recently replaced this).

there is no particular way it happens and its not all the time, sometimes I can floor it and not hear a thing, then sometimes ill go for it and straight away Screeching noise!

horrible sound that's a bit annoying - any ideas?

Could be a blown gasket or a cracked mani, also check your turbo for play.

I doubt its the turbo.
Check all of your auxiliary belts.
if they are not tightened up to correctly they can screech now and again this can happen if they are too loose or too tight.

turned out there is play in the shaft.

what should i do next, budget options:
- source a rebuild kit and have a go myself?
- get a 2nd hand ct9?
- send it away to be rebuilt?

whats the most cost effective way? or should i go mental and get a ct9 hybrid?

if you have access to a workbench, tools and a vice then have a go yourself i would say.

most second hand ct9s are on their last legs at best.

sending it a way will cost a fortune!!!!

EP91 = CT9b 5 blades as its a BBW (lol)

Go td04 buddy, its much more reliable than any ct9 its better in every way.
