turbo timer hotwiring vulnerability?

got told by someone who nicked cars on the regular that connecting a pair of wires from the back of the timer will fire the car up instantly, is there any truth in that?

I would also suggest to the OP to get a higher class of friend or acquaintance as if you are discussing how to steal cars with someone you know to be a serious car thief then you should be reporting him to the police not coming on to a forum to confirm the advice you were given by him.

Scum like this need to be in prison.
