guyz.. one of my mate is selling a stock turbo from his nissan silvia SR20DET.. will it be worthy to get it for my 4EFTE.. do anyone know what turbo is it ??

They are garrett t25's i beleve. not sure which version though!

edit, also Im not sure if they changed the turbo from the s13 to s14/s15 sure someone will know!

Nar my mate with a s13 100% has a t25 bud.



edit: we are both right. according to wiki S13 had a t25g, s14 and s15 had a t28!

yes ..its a S13... i just found out thats its the Garrett T25G turbo.. so what u guyz say about puting this in my 4efte...

no im just right im afraid:)english spec s13(200sx) had t25 which held a ca18det engine. kps13 held sr20 with t28 turbo.nissan never released a sr20det with a t25

apologies.just looked it up on the net.i swallow my words completely:p oh zisco do a nice mani for t25.very good tubby for the 4e.

ME, I run a gt28 ball bearing from a s15. i previously had a t25 from a s13. MAJOR DIFFERENCE!!! it has a LOT more top end. Also, because the gt28 is newer than the t25, it is more efficient.

I love my setup: 24x3x10 Fmic, wrx fuel pump, S15 turbo at 12 psi, straight 2.5 non-muffled exhaust system, diverted housing stainless turbo outlet,440'cc from speedvisioncps, apexi neo, aem wideband, Fpr at 48psi, civic radiator.

good job done very nicely... i was just thinking as i want a good drag car for quater mile races.. thats why i considering the spool time, as its quite a big turbo.. so what u say.... i read ur thread. u said it spools completely on 4k which is quite reasonable for a turbo of this size...
